As an Otaku fan, I suppose I grew up watching Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. And yet even though a couple of years have passed, the tears are still fresh in my eyes everytime I watch it.
Naruto By Masashi Kishimoto is the story of a young ninja who dreams to become Hokage one day in his village Konoha. He endured many hardships as a child as the nine tailed fox Kuruma, a vessel of pure hatred was enclosed within him. Scorned by the villagers, Naruto spends a traumatic past in utter desolation. However, he is brought into light and life by his peers and teachers. His journey thus becomes a trajectory of joy, sorrow, regret , anger and most importantly love and determination. Thus here are a few reasons why watching Naruto is never a mistake.
- Naruto’s determination is unrelenting and highly motivational.
“I won’t go back on my word. That’s my ninja way”
Naruto’s character development is a symbol of personal growth. He encaspulates the epitome of working hard and what it feels like to succeed in life and achieve your dreams. For young children, Naruto is often seen as a hero figure, that would help you push through any obstacles in life. Similarly what is special about Naruto is that his determination is not fully focused on him alone. It is the nature of friendship, love and strength, resonating through him that fuels the spirits of others. Thus he is selfless, going to the extreme depths of protecting those he care.
2. Character development
Apart from Naruto, each and every character has their own character development. Taking for example Sasuke Uchiha. Sasuke, Naruto’s rival and the last surviving member of the Uchiha clan, dwells within darkness and revenge. His character is quite fixed, and isn’t easily swayed unlike Naruto. However, Sasuke’s character finally develops through Naruto’s light, trust and shadow upon him. His sudden realization that Naruto has never been his rival and Sasuke becoming jealous of Naruto for his personality is what finally allows Sasuke to change and understand that there never was a reason to hate him , Thus he atones for his sins in redemption. Similarly other characters have their own background stories that are sometimes heart warming and at times heart wrenching.
3. Watching Naruto and Naruto Shippuden alone isn’t enough if you don’t listen to its music.
Composers Yasuharu Takanashi and Toshio Masuda have done an exceptionally tremendous achievement in creating the playlist of Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. It is not always through the visuals alone, that gives feelings to these characters. It is also through music where such emotions are felt at its extreme. Listening to Naruto music personally evokes a lot of motivation within me to strive forward and vice versa, where sorrow is felt at its extreme. it brings in a whole unstoppable roller-coaster of emotions.
Thus for viewers who will be interested in watching Naruto, do enjoy the experience as a whole and trust me you will never once regret it.
